The Hall School of Music was founded in 1995 by conductor Drostan
Hall. Since then the school has grown considerably and now has close to one hundred
students enrolled and five faculty members. The school has established itself as one of
the finest private music schools in Chicago land. Many of our students hold principal
positions in their school orchestras and are members of local youth
orchestras including
the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. Several of the school's graduates have gone on to
study at the Juliard School of Music, Northwestern University and with the Vermeer Quartet
at Northern Illinois University.
